RECORDING ON NEW EPISODES CONTINUES REMOTELY

Just a quick update for all our listeners that while the coronavirus lockdown continues we will still be recording new editions of The ExtonMoss Experiment remotely.

Simon, pictured above wearing a bespoke headband to reduce the pressure of a face mask on 12 hour shifts, is currently super-busy on medical duties but we have over 25 episodes already in the can and will be recording a COVID-19 edition on the topic of isolation over the coming few days.

THE EXTONMOSS EXPERIMENT REACHES 3,000 LISTENERS

With the release of our Christmas Special we have now reached 3,000 listeners over the past 16 months so have decided to raise a glass to every one of you at home!

What started out as us recording our memories for fun has turned into a bit of an industry, with guest slots on other podcasts, two planned spinoff series coming in 2020, professional engagements and 25 future episodes already recorded.

SPAFF THE SILURIAN

We're pleased to welcome the latest member of our podcasting team, Spaff the Silurian!

Spaff has spent his life in lots of caves in unnamed English moorland before being rescued by Dr Simon Exton in the middle of September 2019 just as Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart was due to blow his load off the face of the Earth.

He has now taken up residence in Podcasting House as our official mascot and makes his first appearance at Halloween this year!

Simon has recorded a guest slot on a hilarious podcast hosted by Adam, Sam and Benson, three guys from Yorkshire offering an escape from modern media. Each episode in their series features stories from around the world that will make you laugh, think or cringe!

Simon's segment is no different and deals with several gruesome medical scenarios, delivered with all the panache that you would expect.
